An Amazing Adventure of God’s Tender Mercies
The Master’s Place (Mega Parish) was inaugurated on March 27th, 2010 by Pastor E. O. Daramola, the then PIC Region 10 and Special Assistant to the General Overseer.
The Strong Tower Complex, which accommodated the Parish, was borne out of the necessity to cater for the RCCG Mission considering space constraints at the Central Parish which then housed the Region 10 and North 5 Provincial Headquarters and could no more accommodate all the mission’s administrative needs.
With a thirty member Pioneer Team (Workforce and Ministers), under the leadership of Deacon Golden Okpataku (the first Pastor in Charge), the first service was conducted on April 4th, 2010 in the Church’s five thousand capacity auditorium.
In the first year, the congregation grew to about two hundred and eighty (280). In November 2010, the new Regional Pastor, J. K. Olaade, upgraded the Parish to a Zonal Headquarter with these area headquarters under the Parish;

ii. King of Kings
iii. Spring of Life
iv. Masters place
Subsequently, Pastor (Mrs.) Ruth Ilesanmi was transferred to the Parish as the Pastor in Charge of the Zone early in 2013; while Assistant Pastor Golden Okpataku (formerly a Deacon) was promoted to be the Pastor in Charge of the Area.
Late in the year 2013, the two Pastors (covering Zone and Area) were redeployed to take up other assignments in the Mission. Pastor Steve Oluyombo took over the reins of leadership as the present Pastor in Charge of the Zone.
As a Redeemed Christian Church of God parish, we are committed to the vision and mission of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Today, as we look back over the past years, we cannot deny the fact that God has indeed been good to us in many ways. Weekly testimonies by Parishioners authenticate God’s presence in our midst; healthy babies have been borne to us, marriages have been consummated, sicknesses and diseases have been healed, accidents have been averted, there have been several narrow escapes, stolen items have been miraculously recovered, new and better jobs have come our way, profitable businesses have been started; the list of God’s love, preservation, protection, provisions, deliverance, salvation, healing, overflow, breakthroughs . . . are endless. Indeed, we testify that God’s grace has been more than sufficient for us!
Today, through the help of God, the Master’s Place Zone has birthed the following parishes:
1. The Master’s House, established in April 2011, is Pastored by Bro. Abiola Akinpade and is located at Guyidna Village, Behind Nigerian Turkish University, Idu Industrial Estate.
2. The Master’s Love, established on April 8, 2012, is Pastored by Dcn. Osondu Ogbodo and is located at House 5b, 39 Rd, EFAB Estate, Life Camp, Abuja.
3. The Master’s Key, established on April 29, 2013, is Pastored by Bro Yakubu Akagwu and is located at No 9 Rd 32 FHA, Lugbe, Abuja.
4. The Master’s Court, established on December 1, 2013, is Pastored by Dcn Henry Rowlands and is located at No 22, 1st Avenue, by Hamira Bakery, Kado Estate, Abuja.
5. The Master’s Tabernacle (Mission), established on April 20 2014, is Pastored by Bro Fred Musa and is located at Angwa Cashew, Zuba, Abuja.
6. The Master’s Sanctuary (Mission), established in April 2015, is Pastored by Bro. Stanley Thomas and is located at Angwan Zogole near Tunga-maje, Zuba Abuja
7. The City of Glory, established in November 2015 is Pastored by Dcn. Gbenga Ekibajo and is located at Chika, along Airport road, Abuja.
8. The City of Power established in November 2016 is Pastored by Bro. Paul Ropo Owoeye and is located at Piwoyi, along Airport road, Abuja.
9. The City of Mercy established in November 2017 is Pastored by A/p Victor Ayopeku and is located at Zhidu, along Airport road, Abuja.
10. Victory Centre, established in November 2017 is Pastored by Bro. Simon Miebifigha and is located at Sabo-Ido village along Gwagwalada road, Abuja.
11. Christ Ambassador, established in November 2018 is Pastored by Dcn. Dagogo George and is located at Kado Kuchi, beside Next (Cash & Carry) along Banex – Gwarimpa express way, Abuja.
Our story, every single step of our journey, is a testament of God’s goodly grace toward the entire Church and every single individual member of the Master’s Place. Clearly, our experience and testimony has been an amazing adventure of God’s tender mercies. And, we are thankful and grateful to be associated with, and to stand for the Master of the universe, Jehovah Elohim.
